A few weeks ago, some students at MIT asked me how they could learn to sing harmonies. WELL… we decided the best way to respond would be to do an entire evening workshop/worship of singing in parts! Not just because singing is awesome, but also because making music together is the most perfect metaphor for community I know.
It’s ok if you don’t read music. It’s ok if you’re nervous in front of people. And it’s ok if you’re hungry, because there will be a home cooked dinner.
Oh, and disclaimer: I used this picture because it’s awesome, but sadly Sandra Montes (left) is not part of this event.
